Are there any turbo owners with turbo timers and alrams?? If so what kind of alarms do you have and do they work with your turbo timers?? Thanks for any help.

I know some people on the board have managed to use both alarms and turbo timers in tandem.

The trick isn't with the variety of either timer nor alarm, but with the wiring of the alarm. If you wire it to something other than the ignition (I believe) or using a resistor, you can use both. I'm not exactly sure here what is done, but you get the idea...

I'm sure others here on the board have had it done though. I had someone email me their Best Buy # in the event I buy a turbo timer and have his Best Buy explain to my local one how the wiring can be done.

But how well do they work together? Do you have to wait until the Turbo timer turns off before you can activate the alarm? Does anyone have a set up where the Alarm will activate while the car is counting down with the exception of the shock sensor? In other words. Is there a away to arm the doors/ hatch/ hood/ and windows, while the turbo timer counts down, and then when the turbo timer turns off to have the shock sensor turn on automatically?
