#64381, "O2 sensor and air/fuel gauge problems? Need Help"

I have my air/fuel gauge hooked up to my ecu wire for my o2 sensor and it was reading fine and now it seems to be messed up when boosting. When i am driving normal my gauge reads stoich and it is fine, but when i boost it starts flickering and flashing to the lean side and sometimes the whole gauge just shuts off and it reads nothing. I know i am not running lean b/c i was fine a few weeks ago and i have not changes the boost or messed with anything on the fuel setup. Could it be me o2 sensor if bad and need a new one or what could it be. I need help.

Double check all your connecctions for the o2 gauge, be sure they are good, tight, and dry. Usually when the o2 sensor goes bad, the gauge will just hang on the right side...check the gauge ground connetion also, as a bad ground can cause issues.

I have it connected to a white and black wire on the ecu, it is off the top connector part of the ecu. I don't have a pic, but i can try and find a pic of it and see if i can get it loaded. I have an apexi turbo timer but i dont have that wire hooked, i need to take my whole car apart and restart b/c i am so confused with the car. I was driving today and now when i go 60mph and higher it reads all the lean and shuts off completely but when i let off it goes to stoich and back and forth like normal. Oh, well i will rewire everything all over again, thanks for the replies.

this was from another post...
>The O2 wire is under the wire cover on the ECU I believe it is the >white wire with the black stripe in the top portion of the harness.

so black diamond or black stripe? got it narrowed down to white wire though
