hey guys thanks for helping me through this. i'm almost done. i THINK i have about 3-4 hrs worth of work left. all that is left is, oil sending unit, and gauges, then tuning. now i also went out an bought a 12vdc multimeter that i will have mounted in the car to run on the o2 sensor voltage. what is the ideal voltage to try and tune to, i remember something about .96 but i'm not sure. anyone help?

Back then I tuned to .88-.92, but I found .94-.96 was where I felt the most power and the egt was in the safe zone a little longer. Which means you can keep your foot down longer during highway boosting.

I heard that the only safe tuning for that is an o2 sensor. Hell I dunno...im a noob

Tuning off of you o2 sensor alone is not a good idea. It will only give you a close guess as to what your a/f mix is. I dont know what your set up is or what kind of boost you plan on making, but you should realy consider getting some dyno time and useing a wide band o2. That way you will be sure and safe. Just my opinion but your stock o2 will only get you in the general area.
