my car is stock with a intake and lowering springs and i wanna put a turbo on my car its a 99 GS and my brother has a 95 TSI and he got a bigger turbo for his car and i was wondering if my engine will blow if i put his old turbo on my car

You cant just put on the turbo. For one, the parts from a TSI wont bolt up to your engine.You have a 420a and he has a 4G63.The only part you can use is the turbo and the rest would have to be custom.But if you can get all the parts a T25 is a small turbo and as long as you dont turn the boost up to high youll be fine.

Lets give him the benefit of the doubt here. Yes hes a newbe. But he dint say "If I duct tape my bros turbo on my car will my engine be a 4g63?" If I had a t25 just laying around then I would probably be turbo a long time before now. Maybe he knows he would need a custom manifold and collect more parts. Maybe hes just woundering if our stock engines would hold up to the big mean t25. Maybe then we can all take shots at him calling him a newbe and telling him to search and theres a section called things we've seen before. Come on guys, benefit of the doubt.
