#64098, "fuel pressure with sfmu"

setup:
t3 turbo
walbro 255
stock injectors
vortech sfmu
regulated @ 5psi (untill im sure she can go higher)

At 5psi I'm running around 70psi fuel pressure with the largest sfmu disc and the dark spring set at 45psi idle, does that sound right?
when i turn up the boost controller to 8 psi, it apears to only go to maybe 80 tops, which should be around 100 i believe. the disc is slightly bent, im not sure if this could cause the problem or not.
I already had to send back the fmu because the one they sent was forcing 90psi all the time. I just got it back the other day and now I can't seem to get a decent rise rate. Is 65-70psi fuel pressure fairly safe at 5psi? I haven't been running it hard. A/F gauge isn't much help. I am about to order an EGT gauge.

Idle should be at 48-53 psi. 70psi is a tad low for me? I'd like to see around 80. What a/f gauge do you have? Get a numerical a/f since It really helps when your tuning at low boost levels.

At 9 psi, the fp should be over 105-110 (!!!) based on the hrc instructions.

-------jezreel
hrc stage 1, sfmu, ml, prokits, egt, boost gauge, apexi tt, costum dp, dynotune fp gauge. gst muff, turbo spoiler

nothing like driving with the windows down and the music low: i love hearing the turbo spool, swwwhhhttt!!!!
