I noticed some people on this site have an 8 - injector setup . I really dont know what it is. Could someone give me a website that gives very detailed information about it . thanks in advance.

basically you slap on an extra set of 4 injectors to handle fuel under boosted conditions. our stock NA engine have 4. when you turbo you need more fuel. to provide the extra needed fuel most kits use a fuel pressure regulator which causes more fuel to be added when boost is built up. the down side to this is that it sometimes causes idle issues. to get around this some people go with the 8 injector setup. essentially the stock 4 injectors are left as stock and work normally when the engine is not being boosted. when the engine begins to boost the extra set of 4 injectors are used to provide the additional fuel. this allows independant control of how much extra fuel is added under boosted conditions. this also allows the car to function normally when not boosting.

Yeah, you use 4 extra injectors that you plumb into the intake manifold. You can then use an additional fuel rail, and injector harnesses to wire it up. The extra 4 injectors are controlled by a laptop programable 034 EIC. You now have complete control and tunability with your boosted fuel maps. I will be going this route, since I believe its the next best fuel solution other than a stand alone computer..much cheaper too...Being able to fine tune your boosted fuel is the best way to go, and using a laptop with the 034 EIC works excellent for this. Using 8 total injectors, you will have plenty of fuel to run whatever boost you want, or ever will run.. The 034 runs around 300, and expect to pay around another 200-300 for the 4 more injectors, and other needed supplies. You must custom in the extra injectors, its not a bolt on application either..
