So I start up my car on a cold morning and check under the hood and see some sort of liquid, most likely mater, seeping between the manifold and turbo and between the turbo and downpipe. NOw this only happens on cold mornings and it burns off fairly quickly. Now if condensation is happening in my manifold would that mean I might be getting rust on the turbine and therefore prematurely wearing down my turbo? THanks guys

What you are seeing is water vapor passing throught he engine and leaking out of a small exhaust leak. Do you worry when you see vapor from your tailpipe on a chilly morning?

But to answer your questions, no.

So do I need to tighten up those connections or should I get gaskets for them? I know that most Star owners do not have a gasket between the manifold and turbo and turbo and downpipe because they are machined down.

You can buy gaskets for the T3 stuff at roadrace.. Though it shouldn't matter much, once it heats up and expands, it should seal up.
