I have a NOS kit unused to this point. I under stand everything except for the jet setting. I have the soft plume nozzle. Is this were I stick the jets and what do the numbers mean pertaning to size Im so lost brain frezze jason

Ok guys I get it I have bad grammar. I just wanted a answer for my question thats all. I have the wet kit with a fogger nozzle. The box says produces a soft plume. Then it says easy to change jets. What are the jet numbers compared to the size of shoot. Can anybody answer that question with out busting my balls about spelling. Feel free to read this reply and pick out any errors. I know someone has a answer out there! thanks jason

Well when I had NOS I used the the wet system used for a turbo eclipse, It is advisable not to use the wet system cuz you will get uneven distribution in the cylinders as compared to forced induction. I used it anyways and it worked fine till I was messing with the solenoids to setup up a 'NOS purge BOV' (setup another solenoid so that after you get off the throttle, WOT switch, your NOS purges)Anyways I messed and tugged the electrical lines too much and not knowing disconected my fuel solenoid. And so when I squeezed I leaned out er something rod snapped, punched a whole through my block - it sounded like an intake backfire except white smoke billowed from the sides of my hood. Anyways some advise about squeezing, get everthing at once. You'll need a bottle heater, pressure gauge, blanket and of course the good ol purge valve. Install everyting at once cuz getting the lines off to get your purge on is a bitch with the electrical lines. I don't think I really answered your question...sorry don't know the jetting Alvin

The numbers on the jets indicate a size. You have to follow the NOS instructions as to what size jets you use for the size "shot" you are going to use. A chart should have came with your kit, otherwise just check out the NOS official site... should have it listed.
And before you squeeze, make sure you have tested the system, before it's hooked up to the NOS and Fuel to make sure both solenoids are firing ( don't know why the guy above didn't do that).
And I don't know why people wouldn't recommend a wet kit. It is true that with a single fogger, you aren't going to get *perfect* distribution between the cylindars...
But it's going to be pretty close. If you're that paranoid about it, go with direct port.
EDIT: Just re-read your question... the jets go on the "nozzle", where the lines from the solenoid meet the nozzle.

I didn't blow right when I installed it, I had it for a month till I started finger f'nin with the solenoids. But yes it is advisable to check your systems before you drop the hammer. Another stupid thing I need was messing with my bottle heater relay..and so it didn't shut off at 900 it went to the red zone I think it was 1200 so I shut it off and purged it to release the pressure...let's say it a white plume of white smoke purged about 2 stories high and the noise had people looking like something bursted. With a wet kit you will run lean in the cylinder nearest the T/B and rich at the end which becomes inherently problematic as you increase your jet size. But I haven't squeezed in so long so I'm not the one to ask about NOS. I'll tell you one thing both boost and NOS have their perks , the BOV and the purge - but with NOS you'd hafta have your bottle full and at $40-50 per 10lb bottle it got expensive racing, and without you feel..well like a sitting duck. So I went boost cuz I figured with all the bottles I'm getting filled it would add up to a turbo kit in the long run. Now boost with NOS that'd be some shiznats Alvin

I'll agree with that. That's why you can only (see: should only) jet up to a 150 (which is pushing it IMO) with a single fogger. At a 75 shot, I would hardly worry about it.
