in everyday driving, i usually slow down before i stop and park. i don't go into boost at all when i know its time to stop is near. i set mine at .50 sec. in maximum boost, corky bell says that if your on synthetic, coking is less likely.

I have mine attached to the rpm wire and I put it on auto. So it does the math by itself when I'm done driving.

It depends on how long/hard I drive. For long trips, to school for instance, it's 35 miles on the interstate. I usually put it on for 3 minutes. For daily in-town driving I set it for one minute.

Hey I have the Apexi TT and lost the instructions and forgot how to set the time. I know you have to hold the thing to the right for a few seconds and it lets you set things. But I haven't messed with it since I don't know exactly what I'm setting. So mine always counts down from 30 seconds.

The sun visor on my GST says "at least one minute" and that turbo is both oil and water cooled. For our oilcooled turbos, I'd say at least 1:30.

Also, don't use the Greddy AUTO function... it doesnt give enough time, you can redline it for 10 minutes and only get 30-40 seconds autotimed cooldown.

Hold the knob all the way to the right when you are on the time function, then set the time when it starts flashing. After you get the time you want, I think you hold it all the way to the right again.

Try that...
