My dad told me that we should remove my intake valve seals b/c on an NA car there is vacuum and it keeps the oil where it belongs but with boost they block the oil or something... I forget what exactly he said but is this true? he has been a mechanic for 20 years or so. Just wandering if this is common knowledge or anyone heard of doing this?

youll have vaccum no matter what, thats why a boost gauge reads in VAC-HG/Boost-psi. ive never heard of removing valve seals, and i doubt anyone here has done that

Only do this is you like burning oil.
Without valve stem seals oil will not be kept in the head, but instead lead down through the valves guides and into the combustion chamber. also the valve stem seal doubles as the bottom valve spring seat.
