how big a shot are you gonna go with?

wet kit im assuming?

are you going to have any electronics to control and tune the car?

that would make a big difference in your compression choice.

IE are you gonna use a nitrous controller, a afc, to tune, a megasquirt more info please!

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.

Get a direct port kit(taps into the intake manifold). Use stock compression pistons and some eagle rods. that alone should be sufficient for a 100-shot. anymore, and you will need to invest in some sort of ignition to control your timing i.e., retard it. goodluck man.

1999 Black C5
1997 Silver RS
Wiseco 8.8:1 Pistons(back to low compression!)
Eagle Rods
T3/T4 Turbo
Custom FMIC
Greddy Exhaust
390's
Most current 1/8th mile time: 8.3@90mph 2.015 60'(Nitto Drag radials, i suck)

well if i do go this route instead of boost, i will probably have a 100 shot and a safc for fuel tuning.

a properly preped motor at 10.5:1 coated pistons some ss valves coated and chamber coated you could do a 150shot but timing retard would be suggested.

with a 100 shot on a fully built engine and supporting mods, would it be possible to break into the 13's?

Doubtful. If your 100 shot makes 240 hp at the crank your most likely going to make a low 14 with stickey tires and a damn good launch.
