i think it will fit without modifying the intercooler. i fitted it last week, and by getting rid of the stock 5mph bumper support, then you can fit it.

i'm guessin that your lookin at purchasing that fmic with the one inlet tube that comes across the top of the fmic and then other on the other end tank its a just a short opening? its been on ebay a few times, i picked that one up. let me know if thats what you lookin to get. i know 2 other guys on here has it, on rewelded the shorter outlet. im not sure about the other member. i was goin to just get the outlet turned and see if that would work, if not i'm just goin to have it relocated towards the bottom. hope that helps and i know you don't want to have anything weld so maybe a elbow or something would help with the way the outlet is placed.

It isnt that hards to modify. I did mine with the help of a friend that has a welder. You just need to get the 2 pieces that have to be welded on it. I think RRE has the two fittings that are needed to modify it. If you leave it stock the pipes are too small and the top one comes out all sideways and not straight. Just get the two pieces from RRE and then have a welding shop do it for you. Or better yet buy my car and then you'll have it all done...lol.
