what's required to make teh star fuel system like the hahn sytem? i know hrc has the inline instead, but what else? is the stock pump just left there unaltered?

There is nothing wrong with the star fuel system. I know a couple people that have ran up to 23 psi on the walbro fuel pump. With bigger injectors of course. The difference between the hrc and the star is that the hrc uses an inline pump that works with the stock pump while the star uses an in tank pump that REPLACES the stock pump.
