if i plan to run around 5-6 psi on turbo kit, would i need to get a rebuild before hand? or are rebuilds only necessary when running higher boost.

As long as your compression is good you hsould be able to run 5 to 6 pretty safely. I run 7 to 8 intercooled. I'm gonna run that untill I blow or when I get enough saved for a rebuild and then run some serius boost
