#60215, "fuel pressure question"
Nov-05-03 09:03 AM by turbo8u

at about 5psi of boost im in the 80's as far as fuel pressure with stock injectors. 10psi is high boost. at WOT the fuel pressure is fine but slowly starts falling down to about 60-63 psi. what gives? is it my fuel reg leaking off the fuel pressure or what? i have a craptech still, buying the vortech friday and see how that goes

it just doesnt keep fuel pressure at WOT anymore

TIA

What fuel pumps do you have? They might not be flowing enough to maintain pressure.

i was wondering if any of you thought the same thing. chill.

i have the HRC inline, have had it for about a year, works fine. i thought it might be the pump to so i got a 100$ intank 255lph replacement and still the same thing.

so 2 for the FPR, anyone else expeirience this sort of problem? i can only boost 10 psi for about 12 seconds before the fuel pressure drops to far down emoji, kinda annoying if you ask me

So are you still running the inline from Hahn along with your Walbro? I know the Walbro 255 by itself can't flow enough for stock injectors...

yea i kept my inline. i have it set up to a little light bulb in my cup holder that turns on when the pump is active. it flows fine....i know that for a fact, i can do small runs on high boost but the pressure just dips...it has to be the FPR, we'll see....

Yes, I even HAD to use the darkspring to get fuel pressures where they needed to be.
