I have a Td04 Turbo kit. This kit is used and is incomplete but in great shape. I'm trying to complete the kit. The kit includes a Td04 Turbo which is in great shape, no cracks or shaft play. Also included is the 02 housing and bolts, exhaust manifold with bolts, coolant lines, 02 sensor, banjo bolts, copper gaskets, 02 housing gasket, manifold gasket and intercooler. This turbo is oil and water cooled and can run around 15psi I've been told.
Any info, feel free to email me at:
phillip.belnavis@maxwell.af.mil
Thanx!
Phil

Uhm...did you buy the turbo off of a 4g63 car? If so that manifold is just a big paperweight. Won't work on our cars at all.

Looks like 4g63 equipment to me. That SMIC is nice though.

Haaaa....Well, I'm stationed in absolutely THE worst place for an import car lover. Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, AL. I'm a nice distance from SoCal bro. Originally from Miami, & have a few friends (icl family) who build/modify cars....just sucks to be here.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like an ass. Search this forum for "custom turbo" and read read read. Out of your list up there you can use: Turbo, Intercooler, and that's it. All the oil and water lines you'll have to fab, the o2 sensor is for the 4g63 cars, the housing points the wrong way if I'm not mistaken...and here's a short list of what you'll need.

Custom 420a log manifold. (talk to alain)
Missing Link.
Walbro high pressure fuel pump.
In line fuel pump.
Fuel filter for turbo applications (holds pressure)
Vortech SFMU
Return fuel lines if your car is higher than '96
30lb injectors
Down pipe
Intercooler piping
Blow off valve
SAFC for tuning fuel curves.
EGT gauge
Boost Gauge
A/F gauge

There's more I'm sure but I'm tired of typing. Just wanted to give you an idea of what all you'll need.

Thanks for posting up the pics bro!
Well, the 420A mani will probably be the hardest thing to get my hands on (Ebay most likey to be the easiest solution). For everything else junkyards/dsmtrader.com/etc. I'm always on dsmtuners.com and the damn forums are down, i haven't been over here on 2gnt, so I figured I'd poke my head in & see what some of you folks could come up w/. From the looks of the housing and the mani, I'd say it's from a 1st gen dsm....but who knows....the dude that had it before didn't have a dsm. Oh well, it's free and it's a decent start I guess. Thanks for the info all.....No hard feelings about your responce bro....it's cool.

No problem. Yeah, the SMIC is a keeper. The turbo too if you can manage to get a mani for it. Don't think you'll be using the rest.

I'm happy to see that you like your manifold

Your turbo however is not a the usual 14b since the 14b is a td05
it's the 13g of the Eclipse/Talon/Laser first gen with automatic tranny
a very small turbo
I could do a manifold for that turbo, usually I do manifold for 14B
the 13g use a similar flange but the hole is not centered on the 13g
my manifolds are now $300 shipping is still a flat rate $25
to put that turbo on a 420a you would also need a O2 housing eliminator made with a flange from RRE and you need to modify the turbo to reorient it properly

the exhaust mani is always the hardest part to find when going custom... there are several ppl on the board that make them and they do a good job... and most likely you will not find any manifolds on ebay that will work for our cars.

and on a side note... forget about dsmtuners for information on the 420A... this site will actually help you with any problem you have, and anything you could ever want to know about the 420A, you will find here. welcome to the club.
