If money were no object, would you get this?

http://www.world-racing.com/products/tbc_index.htm

Do you see any problems with using this in a 2GNT application?

Graphics on the screens look kinda gay, imo. Looks like a cool unit for function, but visual it's emoji

In all honesty you probably won't gain anything over marginal gains from your standard run of the mill EBC. Not even close to worth it. Would it work on a 2gNT? Probably most of the functions for it would. Would I get it? Nope.

Didn't you have the Biltz Turbo timer? You could get the matching Blitz EBC. I have the greddy profec-b spec 2 which I like. I've heard nothing but good things about the Profec E01. I looked at a few of the HKS EBCs but they are a little pricey. There have been people with problems using the AVC-R. So basically I'd recommend either the Profec-B spec 2 or Profec E01 (even better if you are using an e-manage ... I know you're not but I bet it'd work better than the AFC).

Interesting... I was leaning toward the Apex boost controller, now, not so much. I want a boost controller that has a cool interface that I can mold into my console.

The apexi one seems like it has a lot more functions I would use, the greddy one seems to work closely with the emanage. Fedex will be droping off my avcr tomarrow so I will let you know how I like it. I figure if I don't like it I will sell it and get the profect e-01. emoji

I decided to go with the profec e-01. I actually had never seen it til you guys mentioned it. It looks like a good piece, and I know Greddy is good stuff. I just bought one for 513.00 shipped. Not too bad IMO.

Jamesman has used both so he should be a good resource for the pros and cons of each unit. I think you (Brynden) needs to dump the AFC anyway for a better form of fuel management anyways (at least e-manage + accesories if not standalone).

BTW the Profec E01 is a LCD screen ... perfect for molding. emoji Control unit is a seperate box that you can tuck away.

I know I need a stand alone. I just don't know what to do, and who to do it. I dunno about ARD for this. It might be something I want to do myself, to make sure it is done right.

I was seriously 1 click away from buying the e-01 on monday. I decided to try the AVCR first. The e-01 sounds great if you have the emanage, but if not its just a bunch of extra shit i don't need. emoji I guess tomarrow I will find out... emoji

the avcr is one of the best EBC's with its options

the e-01 is very nice also

Bill

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
