Does anyone know anything about a 92 Ford probe 2.2 GT with turbo.The reason Iam asking is will the turbo stuff off the probe work in a 97 Eclipse gs I know i guy that will give me all the parts for free.

My cousin had/has a non turbo probe. It uses some 12 valve motor. and i beleive the mazda 626 used the turbo motor. The car had like 180k miles and i beat it badly. i think that turbo is small, but since its free just get it. free turbo stuff never hurts.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

I replied to your question in the general forum. As long as the turbo doesn't have a triangle flange and has the standard t3 flange it will work. You will have to have a new O2 housing made since the one that is on the probe turbo will end up facing your radiator. You might have to rotate the center section, but I'm not sure about that. The intercooler would work, but it's a little big for a side mount so it would be a little harder to mount than a dsm sidemount. The turbo is pretty good sized; it's a little bigger than a 14b.

so other then some some what minor mods it a good turbo and will should all work just fine
