Those spark plugs are not gapped correctly for turbo applications and you must regap them to somewhere in the window of .032 - .035 . I know that the gap on brand new NGK BKR7E-11 plugs are well into the .040s.

I would have posted earlier about this but I didn't see your message until today.

did you guys notice any performance gains. i've been on the stock plugs since getting turboed but i wonder if i'll notice a change. i don't have any problems (knock on wood) with the stock plugs but just decided to change it cause maybe they were the reasone for low gas mileage.

you wont see any performance gains from a diff range plug, you will however lower the temperature with the 7e plugs (perk about them), they will also ignite the combustion chamber charge in entirety (less chance for detonation) they are good plugs, but dont add ponies

ever heard of making it faster without adding power?

i think with cocky bell said that changing the plugs has a noticeable gains so maybe better pulls or some crap...

BUT!!! but what you said does make sense and for 15 bucks there worth it and more.

just change your plugs when they look outta shape or like every two oil changes and you'll be fine.
