Anyone with a stage 2 or equivalent or higher turbo kit and
3in high flow cat and exhaust in md or va or states w/ similar
emissions inpections pass w/o hook ups. Emissions is the only
thing keeping me from going turbo. Oh, and I also need one
more grand but its coming in a month or two. Also, how much
would a custom turbo kit cost compared to a hrc or star kit w/
the same basic stuff?

Oh yeah. How are your gas mileages like? I get around 17-18
miles a gallon. I just wanna see if thats what people normally
get. And hows your gas mileages after going turbo? Thanks.

I passed emmissions in northern VA last year. At the time, I
had stage II, hi-flow cat, and exhaust. My numbers on the
sniffer test were fine, so I don't think they even looked
under the hood.

And my average mpg is nearly unchanged from before the turbo.
Highway I get about 30 mpg. City/highway mix I get about 26
mpg. City I get 22 mpg. If I spend an afternoon
"tuning", then its best not to count mpg.
