ok i was looking at an evo eight the other day and i noticed that the motor sat the same way and noticed that the engine mounts are preetty almost the same except for the transmission mount one other i think. and the dimensions of the engine bay are almost the same. so my questons is, is this swap possible? i know it'll be expensive, i also know that ill need other shit also driveshafts, ecu, etc. but is it possible and if u had the cash would u do it?? thanks in advance!

anything is possible with enough $$ is it worth it? if you want to be origional. it would involve custom mounts, evo8ecu, rewiring of everything, drivetrain, most likely custom suspension, probobly steering linkage, shifter linkage, i wouldnt touch that with a 10foot pole.

man guys i didn't think that it would be that much. but after thinking about all the custum shit that i would have to do. i would rather go out and buy the real thing. but it would be bad ass to see imo. oh and i wasnt kidding!!

Legalo USA sells the Evo VIII motor with tranny and Ralliart ECU for around 5000 bucks. Then the next problem besides what was said above (which isnt too much imo), would be to succesfully bolt on a 95 n up GSX 4 bolt rear and driveshaft. hmm...prolly a 15k job total including labor.
