Alright, a whole year of hard work, I finally have the money for build bottom end. But then I'm still confuse on what kind of fuel system I should run. I'm going to start getting the fuel system before I get the block. Help me choose which setup I should go with, AFC, 415cc injects, and SFMU or Corbin's 8-injector setup? I was thinking of going AFC because I don't have the ability or exp. to build the 8-injector setup, but if it is better, then I could find someone to help me. So what you guys think I should go with? Thanks.

i have heard that the SAFC isnt well designed for our cars. messes with timing and such.

i would suggest the 440's + SMFU and a bleed valve and you should be fine with that setup.

Hmmm.. I know there some guys in these boards thats running a AFC. Can I get some reviews?

Well I can tell ya that I killed one engine from the AFC (and my own mis tuning). So to answer you question. Yes the afc will change the timing. But you can also use it along with the SFMU and bleed valve to fine tune the flat spots in the power curve. Just dont tune more than + - 10%. I was tuned in just right at around -20 to -28 when I killed my first engine. That sucked.

I would go with the 8 injector setup. It allows for great tuning and still gives you stock drivability. I am at 16 psi and still get 30 mpg highway. When you use big injectors and a low idle pressure the injector does not spray correctly which could hurt your off boost performance.

If I do go with the 8-injector setup and if I plan to get the ACCEL DFI, would the 8-injector setup affect it in any way? And how much HP can I really push with the 8-inject setup before I got to do things to my ECU.
