as of today i went back to syn mobil 1 15w50 again.. compression numbers are good left to right 205,200,194,200 this is with 881 je pistons and rings ( the gap is small which i believe is why my compression is high ) from 3,000-4,000 i have been doing small tuning with the 8 injector setup.. i did have mostly everything perfect well i thought so till 8.5psi a/f good egt 1550max but i notice my advance recently at 10psi of boost range from 11-16 mostly 11-14 at wot. if i just get a little past 0psi and give it just a little gas i get 17 advance ( sometimes ).. ok so i did some thinking... i got stock injectors and accel 420cc in the second rail. i had my MS at 5.350 and i moved it up to 5.850 and changed most of the matrix in vacuum between 73 and 105 since i add fuel around 94Kpa ( in vacuum ). and i also lowered the matrix points at the 105-135 Kpa range to give me less fuel from 1 to 3/4psi of boost.. fuel trims are in order now and my advance for now is ok around 14-16, egt is low and a/f a little high ( no big deal )ill fix it later.. odd part is recently on my last few pulls once i get max boost 10psi, egt 800C and a/f .94-.96 around hmmm 80-85mph i hear this whistle noise and my boost drops along with my egt of course the car feels slower now. what the hell is this whistle noise and what the heck is going on? sounds like you have some sort of boost leak, maybe ur bov is opening a bit leaking air out from there Mods: CAI, OBX exhaust, Grillcraft grills, altezzas, ard ryver g6 17's wrapped w/ falken's, VIS racing c.f hood, 2 12" kicker comp's w/pioneer h.u, streetglow blue undercars, red dash kit, indiglo guages, n other shit

well i took off my cold air intake and it so far has not made the noise. i will run it hard tonight and let you guys know. and my timing is looking better advance 11 but most of the time advance is 15 at around 9psi. we shall see Michael 99gs HRC Stage IV 8-Injector Setup 2GNT Member #32

its odd. if im stop and hit the gas ( boost it up ) around 8.5psi at about 75-85mph mostly 75 give or take a little i hear this noise whinning noise and for sure my egt drop with some of my boost. a/f is still rich timing advance throughout was 12-16.. i did several runs and got this stupid whinning noise with a drop in egt and boost/power. also everytime after a hard run or what not my oil dip stick is out a little. i push it back down, then later after a pull it pops up just a little bit ( enough to notice ).. whats up with this? thanks guys Michael 99gs HRC Stage IV 8-Injector Setup 2GNT Member #32
