Hey Yall, I'm new to the site and have a '98 Eclipse GS and I've gotten the outside done with a Bomex Body Kit, Sparco Seats, Ro_Ja Rims with Nitto Extreme Tires. All put together in a Candy Apple Red Paint job with custom ferrari base coat and Plat, Gold, Copper pearl flames from the headlights to the quarter panels...I am looking to make it FASTER!!! A LOT FASTER!!!! Lol. Anyways I recently purchased a 1G Turbo Head, 1G Exhaust Manifold, 1G Pistons, 1G Oil Cooler and the stock TDO5H-14B turbo. I plan on getting a Spearco Intercooler and Blitz SS BOV, but I am wondering if there is anything else I need for the eclipse to get it to run? Will I need a Turbo Computer Chip? and if so, do I need the 1G chip? or the 2G chip? If all you guys know what else I need I would greatly appreciate it...such as a fuel pump, injectors, fuel rail, turbo chip, etc... anything like that, that would help me get this car running with the turbo that would be great. THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLY!!!!!!!!!

Sell it all on E-bay, you wasted your money buying those parts. Only thing that may do you good is the 14b, and that won't just "bolt up".

You have been soooooooooo ill informed importracer98. I would like for you to check this page 3 times a day for the next 2 weeks. For starters our engines are completely different from the turbocharged models. Like Dino said, the turbo may do you some good and worth keeping. Everything else needs to go out the door.
