well if you look where the downpipe looks like it should bolt to the exhasut housing it looks like a spacer or something.... i really have no idea. i dont think its necessary so dont worry about it, just a custom fab job imo.

nick...where are you?

Unless your turbo is internally gated, you don't need it. it's just an exhaust housing adapter, takes it from a 5 bolt T3 flange to a 3 bold flange. Nothing special. They sell both flanges *shrug*

its a special t3 3 bolt design though it was used on mercedes deisel turbos it has a 90mm bolt pattern slightly larger then the normal t3 ones...

thats why the 3" header flange fits on it perfect..

Bill

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

Wouldn't it be cheaper and flow better to just use the normal flange at the turbo, and make your downpipe radius bend smoother?

It does look way easier to bolt on than an HRC DP though.
