#57390, "Strange RPM issue"

We noticed last night that when we are in movement and the clutch is pressed in or we are in nuteral it sits at a high rpm like 3000rpm until we come to a COMPLETE stop... we have already replaced the Idle Air Sensor. We are thinking that perhaps this is the TPS?

We are running a fuel cell we have checked all vaccume lines and everything is tight... It idles just fine.. it's jsut when we are in movement that it sits at a high rpm range until we come to a complete stop.

Any idea's?

I searched on here for TPS problems and most was relacted to the fuel tank issue, however, we are running a fuel cell and new fuel lines..

The car runs strong other than that...

Hmm, well if its a manual I have no idea, but if its Auto, then it is probably anticipating you to slap it into drive...just an Idea that popped into my head...

My car does the same thing, but not quite 3000 RPM. It sits at like 2000 until I stop. It's a manual.

yeah it started out like that but seems to have gotten progressivly worse... I just found out that we have the bov setup wrong so we could still have pressure in there i think but i not sure... could be causing a problem... we are replacing the TPS in the next day or so...

My car was doing that too....I checked everything out and I noticed that the egr tube bracket behind the intake was lose. I tightened it and it does not do that anymore. Also if it is not lose u may need to replace the gasket.

Well we replaced the TPS and it's still doing the little funky idle at 2500-3000 rpm until i come to a complete stop. I have a venom intake manifold... Where is the EGR tube bracket does anyone have pictures of it? Where can i purchase a block off?
