I have the HRC stg 2. Well obviously i messed something up, oil spits out of my pcv valve like crazy but of course the car still drives. What exactly should I get and what exactly is wrong? How much am I looking to spend to fix it and makesure it doesnt happen again? Also wanting to ask what type of line did you guys use from the gas tank to the sfmu that never leaks and never have to re-tighten clamps? Thanks and sorry if im asking dumb questions

errrrrrrr if you have oil coming out the pcv valve, it could just be a bad valve, but im placing my money on fucked internals such as rings or damaged pistons.

Your engine is probably f-ed.... do a cpmpression test to rule it out or in. and use stainless steel braided line ONLY to run from the SFMU back to the tank. no pierced line, and no leaks. its costs a good bit, but its much better to have piece of mind, than a blown engine due to a fuel leak. 1999 Black C5 1997 Silver RS Wiseco 8.8:1 Pistons(back to low compression!) I would bet my first born that you have a broken ring land. Looks like you will need a rebuild man. Go with some turbo forged pistons you won't regret it.

What exactly should i get? Should i get the bottom end kit howell automotive has? What sizes? Sorry im dum when it comes to this shit. And how much would it run to get it put in? Im in tech school right now for the air force and dont have much time for anything lately which sucks. How much psi could i run safely?

Heres my conclusion. We hooked both of the PCV barbs up. There are two for this system. One of them hooks up to your intake pipe, which is where the system is supposed to draw fresh air from. The other barb, near one of the spark plugs, hooks up to your intake manifold, and is supposed to vent the stupid oil and exhaust crap into the manifold. I think one of the problems is, this system was never intended to see anything like boost pressure from a turbo system. So what happens if you leave both of these barbs hooked up? When the turbo makes boost, this air pressure fills the area underneath the valve cover, and actually forces tons of this exhaust and oil junk into your manifold. Thats why my car was spewing thick oily smoke everywhere when we started it yesterday. When I unplugged both of the barbs, and vacuum capped the intake pipe and the top manifold port, all the smoke was gone instantly. So therefore, use the catchcan writeup and plug both of those ports so you don't create a leak.
Then you may decide if anything is actually wrong by running a compression test. My numbers are almost perfect, so it is possible to spew oil everywhere and have a fine engine. It's from the turbosystem I believe.
