I gotta '99 eclipse GS. Question that I gots fer y'all is whether or not I should stick with it, or get the GST/X instead. I mean, would it be worth it to mod the engine out for a turbo, then slap an after-market turbo on? I heard that the GS has more torque than the GST, which is one of the reasons I bought the car. Now that I have the hood popped in front of me, I'm not sure where I wanna take this thing. Thanks fer any input, yah.

Well I have a 99rs that I just turbo'd, And I love it, Im currently only running 5psi, Which requires no engine mods.. I think you may be able to get away with a couple more pounds of boost as well with no engine mods, but a intercooler would be a good idea. Im running the HRC kit.. which I think is very nice.. and I think you would be happy with it as well..thats just my 2 cents.. but if someone else cares to add to this topic, so be it. but the search also works real well.. and you can compare the 2 turbo kits for the 420a motor.. star kit, and HRC kit.. asking which one is better.. well everyone has there opionion.. and reasons why.. just search and you will see what I mean on that. good luck! and if ya need anything else.. Only reason i would go for the 4g over the car you already have, is to get a GSX(AWD) and to the L2RTsi guy above....good LORD your FMIC is on the crazy side of huge. what kind is it?
