#57152, "what size turbo have you rode in?"

ok, i'm curious as to what size turbo you have rode in. what psi? and what did it compare to, as other cars or anything else you can think of. post all cars if you want to but i'm mainly interested in eclipses. but all cars would still be good to hear. i mean 20g and 25g big emoji we are going to be sending off my demand package soon to that lady's insurance company at the end of this week, if all goes well and we don't have to go to court i should have my settlement soo emoji . but knowing my luck i'm sure something willx( emoji .

also if you know anything else that was done to it and the size of the engine emoji just for more info. and soldier, thanks for the reply but you didn't compare it to another car or anything. like a vette, big V8 or anything. i want to know how it feels, if its faster than this car or that car. whatever. i'm still trying to decide on what vehicle i want next.

he got up to 135 w/in 1 block, honestly it was the most scary thing i've ever experienced in my life. it spooled up late at first and i was like this isn't that fast, then it kicked in and my eyes blacked out for a second and then i could open them and everything was streaming by. i couldn't have lifted my arms up if i tried.

for a 2.0 20g is more then enough if your going 2.4 25g would be plenty

if your going bigger then that it is not a street car...

Bill

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

i dont' see why a 25g wouldn't work on a fully built and modded 2.0 there would be some lag but hey, once it kicked in it would be awesome. and you'd raise the rev limiter with the AEM EMS to have some real fun!

can you get the 25g with ball bearing option? that'd be nice!

I rode in Jasons (JasonESi-T) car. May not be a hige turbo to brag about, the Super16G....but at 16psi it is faaaast. Faster than a modded Z28, I witnessed that one. emoji

thanks for the info ryan. especially comparing it with a z28, cause i was looking into a T/A. but it'd probably be turbo'd or supercharged. do you know what the z28 had on it? and how bad did ya beat him?

I frequently ride in my friend Dave's 1g AWD Talon with a FP Red turbo pushing 24psi. His best time so far is a 12.4@114, and that was on 22psi and no nitrous. It should do much better when he gets it tuned for higher boost and nitrous.
