I want to make sure that I am getting the right thing here. I am ordering the VC1 from www.splitsec.com tomorrow. Is this the right one? I am getting it for the HRC kit. I heard that the one HRC gives you is different. Since I am buying the kit used though I have to buy one on my own. THANKS!!!!!!

maybe i'm confused, but i thought the one from HRC was better for about the same price. the VC-1 needs power and ground too, right? doesn't the HRC clamp just wire up inline? seems simpler too. is that right or did i hear wrong?

That's right Hoot.
Also Bill has come on here and said he would sell his Fuel Mapper (the equivalent to the VC-1) to people. I believe for something close to $90...essentially the same price as the VC-1.
I like the HRC fuel mapper better for the reasons that Hoot cited, however, I believe you have to make sure your connections are up to par.

Talk to Wyatt before you buy the splitsec one. He had to give me a different one (after the first 2 didn't work) I know nothing about the HRC one but I'm sure its good too.

I have developed a new FCD that VERY dependable and is set perfect for our cars. They are the same ones that we are using for the new Turbo Kits. They hook up much like the VC1's, nit like the HRC's.
