#57014, "how much boost can i run on stock injectors?"

With the stock injectors how much boost can i run? I have a high pressure fuel pump... right now we have 50lb injectors but from what i have heard they are a little much... we have a fully built motor... crower rods je forged pistons port/polish/mill and crane cams...
we have msd dis-2 and SAFC....

I want to run around 250hp to 300hp to start out with... I have three sets of injectors the stock ones and 440's and the 50lbs...

we also have SFMU and a Areomotive to choose from.

Use the 440's and the sfmu and youll be set up perfect. The 440's are good for 350hp easy at around 17-18 psi. I currently have the 440's and I ran 107mph at the track at around 16 psi.

Actually if you use the formula properly and your wanting to get 300hp for now then 310 injectors is what you want this will be at 80% duty cycle. 440 is to big unless your looking for huge hp gains other wise your wastign a perfectly good injector and youll be making big adjustments to make it work properly. Your A/F should be at around a 12.7 this will be easier to obtain with the 310's. If you dont believe me do the math yourself. Everyone put big injectors inbecause they think its the right thing to do but its NOT. IF your going for 600 hp I could see doing the 440 but Id still do the math and get the correct ones. Stock injectors are good up to about 230hp. When you do this you will be changing your FMU you disc from the 12:1 to a smaller ratio. Good Luck!

Well if you put the 440 injectors in your going to be doing alot of un necessary tuning. You can get 310's for like $150 I think it is from Hahn Race Craft.

its going to be very hard to get the 50 to work on our car/if at all. the 440cc will be enough for your 300hp goal play with those injecs for now and you should be pretty darn happy.
