well.. ive been running up to 20lbs then falling to about 16lbs of boost.. im like ok.. i have a boost leak somewhere.. ill find it eventually..

yesterday i noticed a rip in my rubber boot that comes off the turbo to feed the intercooler... i replaced it with a higher strength rubber then what hahn sends..

today.. on my way to work i didn't remember that might have been my boost leak and i shoudl have turned the boost down.. i got on it and hit 26lbs of boost.. needless to say the car sputtered, freaked out.. of course not enough fuel or octane rating was too low.

word of advice.. if you ever fuck with any hose lines whether it be vaccum or IC, don't go jam on the gas afterwards emoji

woohhhhhhhh 26lbs!!! jesus!! that would've been the end of all that hard work. lucky for you. but that leak thing happens, i replaced all my hose connections with stonger hoses as well, put T-Clamps because the same happen to me on just 11psi. and if you haven't done this, i would replace all those skinny stock vacuum hoses with 3/16" fuel hoses like that you'll never blow them off. i never had a problem since.

I use fiberglass re-inforced silicone couplers for all intercooler piping. IC pipes are beaded and T-clamps are used. It's expensive but well worth it. I get everything from turbohoses.com

Zoiks, what kind of engine internal setup do you have that your running 20lbs and your car can handle a spike to 26? Whatever it is, I want it.
