Ive been planning on turboing my rs for a while now and never found the funds , im still saving, but i found this guy today selling his t3 , he only wants 220 for it , and it has the intake pipe on it, just wondering if that turbo would be good for a first time turboer ( dont think thats a word but it sounds good ) thx

yeah a T3 is a popular...so therefore a good one I guess....that's what I'm going with...I'm about 90% done. But if I had it to do it all over again I would saving my money and go with a HRC or star...would've been a lot eaisier. Yeah I have that turbo, but mine has no internal wastegate, I have the star stage 2, but I went with a t3 cause I like the way it boosts at like under 3000 rpm and I am only pushing 5 psi. $220 is an ok price, kinda expensive, I got mine for $140 or something along that line shipped off ebay, and the turbo was and is in great shape. Look around people are always selling them on ebay...oh yeah and the custom turbo kit is a pain in the ass, but people on here have done it so it can be done, but save yourself the headache of looking around for parts and get a star kit or hrc kit.
