those of you who remember my fiasco with me not being able to boost because fuel pressure won't go above 40psi and engine almost dying everytime I stomp on the gas...I have explanations and solved the problem. I took my sfmu apart to see if there were any hole in the diaphragm. There wasnt. I washed it and dried it. I removed the boost port screw and put it back in. I checked to make sure no holes were clogged. I put the sfmu back together on real tight and Voila! Don't know where the source of the problem was, but it is apparent we must keep up with maintenance on our sfmus. Now the only problem I have is the freaken BOV is not as loud as before. I don't think I have any leaks or wholes in the pipes. But we'll see. Man it feels so good to boost again.

turn up the boost and you'll hear it. i can hear mine revving on idle real loud being 15psi. so you have it low, if you can handle 8psi then you should hear it real well.

oops i didn't relaize you were stage 3, sorry, anyway i forgot to ask, did you by any chance remove the bottom daphram by mistake, like an idiot i removed it without reading the instructions, 'cause it says you're not suppose to remove it. it says the seal will ned to be removed or something. like that i can know on the safe side to install it and give it a try..

no, I didn't touch the bottom at all. I just removed the top, the rubber diaphragm, the spring and the disks. I run 12psi on a normal day. 15psi sometimes. Funny you brought this up, because now it's happening again. Back to the hood.

Say hello to Captain Dumbass. I was taking apart my sfmu and took off my map sensor while I was at it so I can redo my fuel lines. Well when I put it back together, I forgot to put the largest disk back in, I forgot to rehook the map sensor and I started the car. Ok I see cel, but fp is at 24psi. Not bad. Revved the car, sounds good. When under the hood to play with throttle cable and SHIZAMMM! there near the windshield washers were my largest sfmu disk and there unconnected was my map sensor. DUMBASS! Well I redid everything right and guess what now? Damn idle fp is at 80spi and non adjustable.
