A friend of mine just rigged a turbo kit for a 240, no intercooler, all he changed was exhaust manifold, turbo, downpipe, exhaust, intake, BOV, and wastegate. Can i take a 2g 4G63 exhaust mani, turbo, downpipe, exhaust, intake, BOV, wastegate and injectors and make it work? or will they not bolt up correctly.

It wont bolt up properly, I would just buy a kit if you dont know much about turbos. If you dont then, i'd start researching, there's tons of info in this site. I dont think the manifold bolts up, if not you can drill new holes, but then the exhaust ports might not match up. And i'm pretty sure the exhaust isn't usable, the engine is at another place then ours so the piping won't line up. Dont quote me on this though.

i just saw what he did and wondered b/c i didnt know, and its sounded alot cheaper than a HRC kit, considering i get junkyard parts free, find a good car, rip what i need and thats that! but oh well, thx anyway for the info!

hes only pushin 6.5 psi, and runnin fast enough to beat a srt4 and a T/A what year i dont know, i just saw the video, hes been runnin it for a month now like this, i just wanted to know if i could do this
