ok, the car ran good, untill i gave it a shot,
i have a home made check valve for the map ?
my altonator is the shits,

why would my car start to run like shit?
it wont start, and onesc i get it to start, it will run fine till 4 a little while, then it will start to miss and sputter?
would the altonator not keep charge make the inline pump run bad?
is the map messed up?\
my inline sarts to make a weird noise?, then the car starts to miss under exceleration??

i dont know? any ideas?

I had the exact same problem and it difintely is fuel related. I followed the problem to my hrc check vavle. I have the sfmu and 30ibers. I took off the check valve and the idle fp would jump to about 36psi but I wouldn't be able to boost with it, because the fuel pressure woudn't go up and all the pressure would bleed out. I'd put the check vavle back on and the car starts to sputter and almost shuts off. Let me know if you found another way to fix the problem.

You can't run a stock map sensor without any kind of check valve or voltage clamp. It will kill your engine if it sees positive pressure.

get a fuel cut defenser

I think all the turbo guys should send in our FCD's to Dino and see how many we can accumulate and sell back to Hahn. hahhahaha

Im not sure if mine is the fcd. Check valve off, static fp is 36psi and when gas is stomped, it jumps up fine. Check valve on, static fp is 23psi, stomp on gas and car just abouts die, but redeems itself. Open up my home depot ghetto rigged bleed vavle a lot and stomp on gas and it's fine. But I can't boost because all that fuel pressure bleeds out through the check valve from me opening it too much. I guess I have a check vavle problem now. Anyone know where I can get a new one?

You're talking about in your fuel pressure regulator, right? If you have the cartech one from Hahn it's probably crapped out...hense the nickname craptech. But a SFMU
