They both don't look like Vortech Units to me. The second one may be a vortech but may been repainted. All Vortech units have the bottom portion painted in their classic blue Vortech color.
I believe the guy on ebay used Vortech in his title simply to draw more attention to his auction and the unit is just similar to the units Vortech sells.
On both units, I do not see any adjustments on the lid like the Vortech SFMU has. The SFMU has three screen ports on the side of the lid - one for Vacuum, Boost, Bleed. These units do not.
When trusting the life of you engine in the hands of a single fuel management unit, I would definitely spend the extra money on a Vortech unit. No sense in spending alot of money on a built engine or turbo kit only to get destroyed by a cheap Fuel Pressure Unit.

I may be selling my SFMU pretty soon here if you are interested. You can e-mail me for more info, and I could "save" or "reserve" it for you if you are serious about buying one. Email me at dehartJ@wans.net if you like.

the fmu has to work with your stock fuel pressure regulator and can't control idle and static pressures, while the sfmu completely replaces you stock fuel pressure regulator and can control idle and static pressures.
