If I got the hahn turbo manifold with 20g turbo from hahn and their oil line kit and wastegate what else would I need to get to complet a stage 1 turbo kit.I know I would need the piping and upgrade fuel pump but what else?Would this be cheaper than buying a stage 1 or not?

honestly.. either figure out everything you need and understand what roll everything has in the system before you go piecing together a kit. i would just buy a kit and be done with it...

A custom kit is cheaper, but it takes alot of preperation and understanding how to turbo charge a car to build and install it.

now that i installed the kit myself, i can really see why custom is sooo much cheaper but suieclipse is right though, i couldn't really see how things were placed and how they worked until after i was going through the install and cursing the world to death lol. damn manifold botls.

but you need a sfmu, missing link, boost gauge, fp gauge, egt gauge, inline pump, vac lines, ss fuel lines.

i think if you go with hrc you still had to peice custom stuff together with the kit. since i didn't use the craptech, i had to buy 250 worth of ss lines and fittings.
also lines to the bov and what not. the plumbing section at homedepot becomes your friend.

Would there be any way we could see some pics of all the pieces you got. And about how much have you spent thus far in putting your own kit together?

no more 420A
