#5548, "car showing signs of getting hot.....(kinda long)"
Recently my car has been getting hot, the guage in the dash moved from its normal position in the center to slightly higher. This is when im drivivg, I can cool it some by turning on the heater full blast or letting it set for a bit. When I was n/a I could drive my car fast and hard all day long in this fla heat and the needle wouldnt move, i'm thinking the FMIC is effecting the efficentcy(spell check) of the stock radiator or the stock radiator needs to upgraded for the 420a turbo cars. Anyone else having this happen? Should i check for any defective parts? I've had the car for 4 years now and havent flushed the radi. yet, could be due. Let me know what you guys think.

Do you mean the needle is still in the normal but just hotter than before, or do you mean the needle is pointing at RED HOT!!!
If it is the first, than expect that a bit. Now you have a turbo that does not expell exhaust quite as quickly as a straight exhaust mani. Heat is bound to build up a little, not to mention the FMIC does obstruct some airflow through the radiator, but certainly not enough to overheat a car...
Definitely change that radiator fluid. This weekend... A gallon of antifreeze is what, 5 bucks, and takes all of 30 minutes from start to finish, as long as you haven't driven your car in several hours first... the longer you wait, the more likely you are building deposits within your block and radiator, possibly blocking the flow and creating an even bigger problem than you have now (i.e. constant overheating and possibly burning out your water pump from fluid starvation...
What I'm trying to say is it's kinda (do you hear the sarcasm?) important...
