I think I found the problem of why my coolant is disappearin, and it has to do with one of the two lines commin out of the coolant resevoir... I attached a picture below... One of the tubes runes from the cap of the coolant resevoir to the thermostat... The other tubes runs from the top of the coolant resevoir to, well, no where... As I understand it that should connect back to the radiator or engine somehow... please help...

dont worry about that, its just the overflow emoji, it doesnt connect to anything it just points down

edit: if it keeps overflowing you may have other problems like your thermostat, or even a headgasket

hey that line is just the overflow. It isn't supposed to go anywhere except for the little hole right beside the bottle that will allow any overflow to drain to the ground. Keep in mind that that tank is the overflow tank...so if you have coolant coming out of that hose...you have other problems. Get under the car and check the backside of the engine where the head meets the block for oil or coolant leaks. If you have either..chances are you have a blown head gasket and that is where your coolant is going. Our car are noted for bad head gaskets, and there is a new improved mls (multi layer steel) gasket to replace the old style. Hope this helps Jeremy

that one is just in case ur coolant resevoir gets to full so it has somwhere to go. But if for some reason ur having that much coolant going in there u could be loosing some there. Is there any dried coolant by the end of the hose coming out of it?

Rubber headgasket??? That wouldn't last 5 minutes!! Just go to any local Mitsu dealership and ask for a MLS headgasket. I think that's what all of us boosted guys are using.

if you have time to have it shipped I would call bob kise at fenton dodge here in michigan and he will ship it to you. They have the best prices of any dodge dealership and also will give you a 2gnt discount. (810) 714-3300

edit: and I bet they have it in stock so it will go out same day. I can't find the mls HG part number right now, but here is some additional info on replacing it.
