i had the autometer, now i got the greddy peak hold 60mm. both are great gauges with the warning etc. i even hooked up the extra wire to a horn device so when i hit my set limit the horn device will go on. better for me to keep my eyes on the road.

hey mike,

so you didn't get any weird readings like the needle bouncing a million miles per hour with the egt gauge?

thanks

I have the greddy too. It kicks ass. Sometimes the wire harness in the back of my gauge will get loose and the gauge will cut off, but a little tape can fix that.

can i use the autometer bung (for the probe) thats welded to the manifold with the greddy probe?

are the sizes of the autometer probe and greddy probes the same?

I personally think the greddy gauges are the way to go, with regards to the bung, both autometer and greddy use a 1/8 npt bungs, but the greddy probe will not fit into the autometer bung, you will have to replace the whole bung, but they are the same thread pitch so you shouldn't have any issue. only thing is when i took mine bung out to change it all the threads got stripped on it, but the manifold was okay, i just chased the threads with a tap and it was fine.
