Hey guys...

I'm sitting here playing with my SFMU, and now that I finally got my 2.72" disc which Vortech didn't put in my package, I put the disc and it's corresponding ring in the unit, and I notice that, unlike the other rings and discs, the 2.72" disc doesn't completely seal against the inside of the ring. I was wondering if it was like this for all the other SFMU users in here. The other discs fit fine inside their rings, but the 2.72" disc/ring is different. Anyone else?

i think i have the 2.72 disk in mine. i got mine from sumit and it came with 4 disks (1 already inside) 3 rings and 2 springs (1 already inside) i have the biggest ring, and the second biggest disk. the disk just sits ontop that silver thingy in the middle of the sfmu. damn thing slids around when trying to install it. i was thyere for like 20 min, with 3 guys helping me to get it to stay there. install it before its on your car. i learned. i also have the dark hard spring in there.

Yeah, the biggest disc doesn't use a ring, it just sits right in the bottom unit. You are saying that the disc kepts sliding around in yours? Thats the thing I'm trying to straighten out, cause if you use the next smaller disc/ring combo, it fits tightly... kinda strange.

ya it slides around. you just gotta sit there and try and tighten everything down with that disk centered as much as you can get it.

once you get the blue shit on it and tighten it down a little, it should stay there good.

Yeah I asked the same question a long time ago. Someone said thats how it is, and thats normal. So like ^ said just don't let it go for a walk when you put the top back on.
