The small line is perfect for my Blitz boost line since it is so small this is the timer that it comes with:

This is the line in the rear of the intake manifold:

So is this a good line to tap? The smaller one that is.

Thanks guy emoji

Yeah, you can tap that line no problem. You'll get a CEL if you don't get enough vacuum to that EGR valve, but a timer would be no problem.

I have the same timer, honestly I don't think it's worth hooking it up to the manifold... the "automatic" feature sucks, no matter how much I boost, it's never gone more than 20 seconds before shutoff. Just set it to manual, 1 or 2 minutes.

Mine's teed off with my mechanical boost gauge though, fwiw.

Oh, fun fact: Those rubber boots on the OEM EGR vacuum line just slip on and off. The actual line between the boots is the same exact teflon-ish line that comes with Blitz and other products.

Yeah it's got the boost gauge built into it. It's the Blitz DTT Type X, it's pretty neat and small, but the display is nice and bright and I placed it right on my steering column so it's angled right. I was gonna get a mech. boost gauge but then I was think, I will spenmd like 40 for the gauge then 90 for a timer, so I went ahead and got this one for 112 from ebay. The install was easy with the greddy harness, but now my alarm opens the doors when the timer shuts off.

heh, my car does that too. I never really tried to fix it, i just delt with it. if you figure out how to keep it from doing that let me know.

I would tee off a larger line from the mani, but thats just me. The egr signal will work fine tho.
