if some of you don't know I took my car to DNR performance for a dyno run cuz it was only like 35 bux to run it. It managed to crank out 210 HP and 195 ft/lbs of torque. But the graph was hella messed up haha.
Anyway can ne1 tell me what this graph could me, the lines pulsate up and down pretty fast. Could that be an indication that my valves are messed up or need work? I'll post up the other dyno run I did b4 I rebuilt the engine also.
Haha obviously my car was running way too rich from looking at all that black smoke, will a super afc fix that? I notice at partial throttle I can get a good mixture going underboost but WOT thing goes mega rich and cools the EGTs down to like 1400. I also put a 10:1 disc in the FMU also.

yes both dyno places I ran at 8 psi the 140 HP one was because my exhuast manifold gasket was blown I think.
they did have a fan in the movie you just can see it its a little further back. that's why you see the smoke movie back in the movie which brings me to another thing.
I found out where that exhuast leak is that makes my valve cover and stuff all sooty and all. Its the wastegate and not from where the gasket is mounted I know for sure that's not leaking I've tested it and tested it and come to the conclusion its leakin from the wastegate actuator itself. If you see in the movie at about redline hella white smoke starts pouring out of the wastegate, ne1 know how to fix this besides getting a new wastegate.
as for the jaggedy graph I don't think its the computer drawing it wrong there were lotsa cars that ran and mine is by far the most jaggedy, you shoulda seen the RX7s graph it was like a straight line. ne other thoughts about this?

hmm I was thinking and looking through old posts and do you guys think that the wastegate is leaking because that screw on the top of it isn't tight enough? Its the only thing I could think that may cause it. that and the wastegate is broken O_o I only touched that screw once and that was to put a fitting for my MBC and I marked it carefully so I would put it back in the exact same position. Should I turn it a couple turns and clean up that soot in my engine bay and start drivin it? O_o

well my screw is turned almost all the way to the right, pretty much like where the top of the screw is even with the end of where you can place the nut. i notice that was one of my problems back then when i was adjusting the MBC, when boost would'nt respond well till i turned it a bit and wallah, when i rev the engine, you hear the BOV real loud. so i'm sure it can either be that, or you're getting a boost leak from the connection on the IC pipings. i use T-clamps now and hi quality silicone boots everywhere. when i did that change...oh man did it make a diffrence especially that 90* rubber boot that comes with our kit. that shit always blew off past 10psi. and the regular sorry clamps always came once in awhile, but now no more leaks anywhere. try and trouble shoot if that's where it's at, cause i'm pretty sure you still have not worn out the wastegate.
