where does the hose that goes over the end of the valve cover close to the timing belt cover...this is a metal hose that looks like it bends down towards the firewall and on my car it looks like it should have a rubber hose connecting it to something else, but it dosen't. can anybody tell me if it does hook up to something? and if it does where and the location on the car....the other end comes up from below the passenger headlight....BUT IT DOESN'T GO UNDER THE OVERFLOW RESIVIOR FOR ANTIFREEZE..... it goes to the front of the ca more before it goes into the little compartment under the resivior...

any help with this would be helpful cause i have had a code 31(evap solenoid circuit) for a while and bill hahn and all the people i have spoken too have been a great help, but i still haven't figured this out....

The end on the firewall side has a rubber hose that goes to the manifold. plugs into it.

That hose if its what I think it is...connects to the throttle body where the hoses to the Fuel pres. reg. connects. the other end connects to your EVAP canister which is under the passenger side headlight its pretty far down there. its a little black can.. connect the rubber hose there.
