I have noticed a lot of you guys break in your motors very gently when you have them rebuilt and I am really not understanding why, instead of just typing break it in like you will drive it, I have a link here that could save you some headache and time. I personally have built quite a few small block motors and obn my third 4cyl, 2nd boosted 4cyl I have built, one honda and now one chrysler and I have yet to gently break anything in. This is much more of an old wives tale than fact because for everything to seat quick and right, you need to do it fast.

this has been posted at least a couple times in the past 2 years, and from what ive seen in respose, i would have to agree w/ the guy. having never rebuilt an engine, i cannot, however, include a "real" opinion. good link though. you will probably get several repies in either direction.

:shhh: i do cocaine :/shhh:
