Ok, so today I looked under the car for the HRC fuel pump...it is in fact installed right where the fuel filter sits...so that checked out....so I pulled out the back seat and looked for the stock pump....yep it was there. (i did notice that the stock pump is really small in contrast). But, how do I know if the stock fuel pump is infact working ?? all the wires were hooked up but...how would I know if its still pumping ? Another thing, I noticed that there is NO relay and the HRC pump is just running off the stock pump straight...with just a few splicers??
Ok so now what should I do...
Would it be possible to get a second HRC pump and install it in the tank...and just replace the stock fuel pump ?

Two things.
1) To determine whether your stock pump os working. First unhook thew power wires to your Accel Fuel pump. That's easy, since they just have a screw on wire connection at the side of the fuel pump. Second, after you disconnect any connections to the Accel Fuel pump, try and turn your car over. Hypothetically, if your stock pump is working, your car will stil be able to run. If not, you won't be able to get your car started.
2) Make sure you rewire the Accel fuel pump as delineated in the HRC instructions. As I remember, it calls for a wire to be run back from the battery as I recall. (not for merely splicing the stock fuel pump power wire as the sole power fed) I used 10 Ga. wire here. Make sure to inclde a fuse inline close to the battery. Near the fuel pump, wire in a relay, using the stock fuel pump wire as a switch wire to the relay.
Fuel pump efficiency and delivery has a strong correlation to how much power is being fed to the fuel pump. 4g63 guys have had many tests and that's why recommendations have been made to rewire their own fuel pumps.
