#5450, "hey MWC FMIC Q's"

I just got hold of a later starion IC. Can you shoot me a list of parts and where I can get them? (cheapest of course) I know have to get it modified, but can you be more specific on what to tell a welder. (keeping in mind that I'm a good one) Do they take off the end tanks or just cut out the inlet/outlet pipes and weld new ones in? Wish me luck with getting the bumper off too! Just finished painting my WW Agress. front bumper. Bout how long will it take to get it off? Thanks man!

Shit is all apart. Typical...

Im not Ray, (heh..but I did the same thing, so I got some answers! heh

1)From RRE, get their mandrel bent aluminum elbow at 2.25" and that'll be all the parts you need.

2)Have a welder cut off both stock inlets and outlets. Then have them cap the driver's side outlet.

3)Next have them put just the elbow in the inlet side (passenger side of the I/C). Do't use thw whole thing...leave about 3-4" of that elbow for the outlet side (diver's side).

4)You should have ample 2.25" aluminum pipe leftover from the RRE elbow(see step 3). Weld that remainder to weld on to the driver's side outlet.

That's it!

Good luck!

Just remove all the necessary bolts. Cyan has a FAQ on it.

You won't be able to complete the project without removing it.
