i havent gotten my kit yet but i am reading some online star install instructions.

step 16: Install the preassembled map sensor by-pass. Remove map sensor from intake manifold. Install map sensor by-pass flange to intake manifold. Plug the map sensor to the open end of the vacuume hose.

wtf is this? i just bought missing link. should i have not bought this since the kit itself comes with a map sensor by-pass, or is this something totally different?

I think it will do the same thing as the missing link, but I would trust the ML more. I would assume it is better quality.

if u bought the missing link then discard the black box that comes with the kit... the black box is a voltage clamp that tricks the ecu into seeing no boost. the missing link mechanically does a better job at it. lots of people had problems with the black box so stick with the missing link and ditch the box.
