I am running way rich at start up. I have Vortech FMU 12-1, stock injectors and a Walbro 255 hi-psi pump. I installed new plugs this morning and already fouled them out! What would be causing me to do this?

I can crank it about 5-6x before it finally starts. When started, it stumbled and black smoke spews out of the wastegate and exhaust. You can just smell the richness after it starts.

Built 420a
NER turbo kit T3/T04s ball bearing
AFX UDP
Crane 0014 cams

Yes, what is your idle fuel pressure? stock injects need around 45-50 psi at idle, no more

Could it be possible he has an injector gone bad? This sounds very eeriely familour to my problem i had before i rebuilt my motor and found my rings where fubar and my head gasket was blown.. I think it has something to do with your SFMU you need to ajust your base pressure... also do you have SAFC?? it may have gone wack....

it could be a number of things.
